Mrs B's Salt & Pepper Wings

In my book wings have the perfect skin to meat to bone ratio, the amount of fat in a chicken wing is just right to make you a juicy, crispy and flavoursome mouthful of supreme chicken flavour - this is why they are so moreish! These wings are super easy to make, and really show off everything that is good about a wing. Give me a wing over breast any day!

Ingredients

14 wings

1/2 lemon

4 tbsp olive oil

1 1/2 tbsp salt

1 1/2 tbsp cracked black pepper

Method

1) Pre-heat oven to 190ºC, line an oven tray with foil or greaseproof paper and spread 2 tbsp olive oil on top.

2) Place your chicken in a bowl, squeeze the lemon over them, followed by the rest of your oil, salt and pepper. mix until evenly coated and they look like the below. If they don't look like the below add more seasoning!

3) Roast for 35mins, then flip and cook for a further 15mins.

ENJOY!
